Those haunting rhymes are keeping the time,
but they'll never get through to me.
It's my party, but I'm waiting for someone to start it.
It's my party, there's no one but me in the corner.
Gotta get my mojo runnin', engine hummin', don't I?

Now roll it up and smoke it again.
Now light me up and snort it again.
Now fix it up and shoot it again.
I can't believe I did it again.

Keep haunting me, taunting me,
but they'll never get through to me

It's my party, but I'm waiting for someone to start it
My party, there's blood on the ceiling, the carpet
Gotta get my mojo runnin', engine hummin', don't I?

Now roll it up and smoke it again.
It's bottoms up and drink it again.
Now fix it up and shoot it again.
I can't believe I did it again.

I'm readin' the signs, makes me wonder why they're getting through to me.
Gotta get my mojo runnin', engine hummin', don't I?
Gotta get my mojo runnin', engine hummin', don't I?

Now roll it up and smoke it again.
It's bottoms up and drink it again.
Now fix it up and shoot it again.
I can't believe I did it again.

Oops, I did it again.

General Comment:I can't help but wonder if the 'Oops, I did it again.' at the end of the song is reference to a cover of Britney Spear's Oops, I Did It Again, falsely labeled as by Mr. Bungle.

General Comment:I first had this idea that it was about getting wasted and/or high, blacking out and killing someone (hence "there's blood on the ceiling, the carpet"), but it might just be about addiction in general. Of course if this song gets to be the commercial breakthrough Patton seems to aim for it to be, the kids will only pay attention to the "Now roll it up and smoke it again!" part, but that's sort of the beauty of it.

General Comment:and yes i def think Patton was aware of the connatations of including the oopps i did it again at the end. Or was he i read he didn't listen to the radio much but if he did Peeping Tom is what he would want it to sound like.

General Comment:This song is totally about the hallucinations you get after you're high! the voices in his head are 'haunting me, taunting me'? sounds like a junkie....with a seriously sexy song.
