Adult Female Voice:
Do you know when people love you?

Young Female Voice:
My spanking, that's the only thing I want so much. Spanking, that's the only thing I want so much. That's the only thing I want so much.

Adult Female Voice:
Do you want people to love you?

Young Female Voice:
My spanking, that's the only thing I want so much. That's the only thing I want so much.

Adult Female Voice::
Why is that better than being hugged?

Young Female Voice:
Why is that better than being hugged? Because you get closer to the person. Closer to the person. Why is that better than being hugged? Because you get closer to the person. Closer to the person. Just like a person having sex feels cared for. They wanna be loved, so they have sex together and they feel loved about that. And this is the way it makes me feel, loved. I want it, I dream about it, I think about it, I want it. Just like a girl wants sex with a boy, you know? It's the way I'll always be probably.

New female voice:
My last one was..., was born in the system.

Young Female Voice:
See, they're stupid, really stupid those people over there. They're stupid. These people are so below mentality, honest to god, really. Find me, he got the nerve to bug me. Find me, he got the nerve to bug me. Below mentality, honest to god, really. Find me, he got the nerve to bug me. Honest to god, really. Find me, he got the nerve to bug me. Bug me. Bug me. He got the nerve to bug me.

New male voice:
Everything seems so hateful. I don't know. People seem so hateful, and I, I don't know if that's my imagination, but reality.

New Male voice:
Hey foxymophandlemama, that's me.

New Male voice:
And I don't know if that's my imagination, but reality.

Young Female Voice:
Hey foxymophandlemama, that's me. Hey foxymophandlemama, that's me. Hey foxymophandlemama, that's me. Hey foxymophandlemama, that's me.

She prides herself on her cleaning habits. She prides herself on her cleaning habits.

Adult male voice:
She prides herself on her cleaning habits. She prides herself on her cleaning habits.

Young Female Voice:
This mop is still in one piece. Good mop. There's something really secret about no streaking. See any other old dumb mop, it streaks. Come on mop, quit streaking mop. Mop. I don't mind mopping the floor, but when my mop streaks, I don't like it. I can't use the mop. I told my boss to get new mops. Be away with this old stupid...

Adult male voice
The most won't mop. I don't mop!

Adult male voice:
Here the floor looks beautiful.

Adult male voice
I don't mop!

Adult male voice:
Here the floor looks beautiful.

Adult male voice:
I don't mop! The most won't mop. The most won't mop. The most won't mop. The most won't mop. The

most won't mop.

Female voice:
You're right, it's...stupid.

Adult male voice:
That's why they call me mophandlemama.

Adult male voice:
Here the floor looks beautiful.

Adult male voice:
That's why they call me mophandlemama. That's why they call me mophandlemama. That's why they call my mophandlemama.

Adult male voice:
In two weeks, before she could see herself turn just 23 this May, even though she disturbed no one today, the manager told her to completely forget.

Female voice:
I'll never do it again, I swear.

Male voice:
How do I tell the whole world that I'm mentally ill? Or that I'm crazy? I wanna come home and I wanna settle down. I can go out in the world and not act crazy. And I can still fantasize, but

keep it to myself. Keep it to myself. Keep it to myself.

Young Female Voice:
What do you think this is?

Young Female Voice:
I think I deserve to be loved

Young Female Voice:
What do you think this is?

Adult Female Voice::
Do you have a gun?

Adult male voice:
Keep it to myself. Keep it to myself.

Young Female Voice:
I think I deserve to be loved

And I can still fantasize, but keep it to myself. Keep it to myself. Keep it to myself.

Young Female Voice:
What do you think this is?

Young Female Voice:
I think I deserve to be loved

Adult Female Voice:
Do you have a gun?

Opie:

Adult Female Voice:
Do you ever think that you actually would kill yourself?

Young Female Voice:
Well, I have thought about.. well... well uh deep... yes, I believe I would. I have thought about.. well... well uh deep... yes, I believe I would.

Male Voice:
And I can still fantasize, but keep it to myself. Keep it to myself. Keep it to myself. I can go out in the world and not act crazy. And I can still fantasize, but keep it to myself. Keep it to myself. Keep it to myself.

Young Female Voice:
I think I deserve to be loved

Adult male voice:
And not act crazy. And I can still fantasize, but keep it to myself. Keep it to myself. Keep it to myself.

Young Female Voice:
What do you think this is?

Young Female Voice:
I think I deserve to be loved

Adult male voice:
Do you have a gun? You're a very lucky girl. Do you ever think that you actually would kill yourself?

Young Female Voice:
Well, I have thought about.. well... well uh deep... yes, I believe I would.

General Comment:This is a really cool/creepy song. Its actually real recordings from a Mental Hospital with Eddie on Guitar and Jack on Drums.

General Comment:I don't know where Cam-win is coming from: there's a beat throughout the track, and a bass line at the end...it's CLEARLY a song. Just as every word in a book has a place being there, every song on an album has a place. I think this song, in quoting mental hospital patients, and ending with the most important question to ask oneself in life, is an EXTREMELY profound way to end a remarkably dark and raw album. Awesomely chilling sonic montage and great last track.

Also, I totally agree with several people's comments making comparisons to Tool's music, and especially "lost keys (blame hoffman)" though I think this track even more resembles the track right after that one on 10,000 days, "Rosetta Stoned."

General Comment:Ugh, I can't stand this song. In fact, this isn't even a song. It's a recording from a mental hospital and some creepy guitar licks and a whole bunch of other crap thrown together. I like to pretend that Immortality is the last track on Vitalogy.

General Comment:THIS IS NOT A HORRIBLE TRACK... I see a lot of connections with this album and tools Aenema with all the interludes and so called "filler" tracks...

General Comment:it's pure genius if anything. words in itself don't mean squat but they way they are displayed and played with the backing music is in itself much more than a hidden track so maybe that's why they wanted to include it as the actual offical ending song.

General Comment:Really creepy song, I totally agree that this album is put together much like 10,000 Days, I wonder if Tool meant to copy the layout? Or have other bands had albums with tracks like this before Pearl Jam? Whatever the case I guess it was cool to listen to once, but after that it can just get skipped. For that reason, it is a good closer, anywhere else in the album and it would have totally ruined the flow.
