Killing time 'til it's time to die
Do you remember when you were a child ?
And the sky loomed above like a great mystery
We hoped we'd crash into the other planets
Growing old we become numb and obsolete
Growing into our accursed bodies
With tired eyes and a tired soul
Growing to fit into our accursed bodies
Can't wait to die so I can get some sleep
Give up life just to get by
We were born into this curse

General CommentI think this is about how when we're young we have all kinds of big dreams, and as we grow older and we find out those dreams (and most others) don't come true, we don't have very much reason to go on and are just awaiting death (and yeah. . .that's pretty much true. . .)

General Commenti think it's maybe how christians go about saying how "we are not of this world, these are not our true bodies, our home is in heaven." then turn around and focus on life and materials so intently that you wouldn't recognize them.
