Pictures-- black and white, or colour.
There's a postcard sent from Heaven.
Says, "Make the most of never-never
Horizon starts right here
The future's always near."

And I,
I know this time is borrowed,
I try to remember and forget
My sorrow.

Celluloid, monochrome, or colour;
Don't want to end in tears.
I'll leave before my fear's confirmed,
Scared to love,
Wasted knowledge,
Gift to the grave.

These four walls are lost forever.
I could never be that clever.

Celluloid, monochrome, or colour;
Don't want to end in tears.
There's nothing left to discover--
Did I learn to walk too soon?
Is there time to turn the screw?
Survive destiny, Polaroid me,
What's left to say about yesterday?

I'll leave before my fear's confirmed;
Scared to love,
Wasted knowledge,
Gift to the grave.

These four walls are lost forever.
I could never be that clever.

    General CommentThis is such a beautiful song. I dont know why but it really touches me every time i hear it. And it sonically, it's just epic.

    I know this is cliche - but it seems like something related to a breakup

    And I,
    I know this time is borrowed,
    I try to remember and forget
    My sorrow.

    maybe briefly getting back into a relationship, or visiting an ex's house, or snooping around the house of someone she's with trying to find something out that she doesn't want to find out.
    "I'll leave before my fear's confirmed"

    Backing out of a relationship before they can hurt you.

    "These four walls are lost forever" - being back in the person's place or thinking about an ex's house and realizing you cant go back - or even just metaphorically that you cant go back to where you were.

    Survive destiny, Polaroid me - like take a picture of NOW that will last forever, so this moment could be forever.

    Egh... that's the best i feel like doing.
    but i love this song.
