You saw the whole
You sighed oh no oh life
You sighed all for
You sighed oh no
You sighed only should I
I know
I love you
You saw no one for
You don't know I would
You
You don't love you
You don't know, how could
You don't know I would
You
You don't know you

its sung in 'Hopelandic' which im pretty sure is the lead singers made up language that he sometimes sings in. I thought it sounded so much like english i wrote down what i thought he was saying if he was singing in english and it came out like this:

You saw the whole You sighed oh no oh life You sighed all for You sighed oh no You sighed only should I- -I know I–love–you You saw no one for You don't know I would You… You don't love you You don't know, how could You don't know I would You… You don't know you

sweet, eh? kinda sums on the feeling of the song.

my sis doesn't think so... but i think it sounds like he's saying "i love you" at least five times in the song. even though he's singing in hopelandic.

    snogger--

yup that's totally what it sounds like. my favorite part in the song is when it sounds like he's saying:

    "i know... i--love--you..."

Andvari is a dwarf, I think, in Norse myth, who forges a cursed ring.

the end of this song is one of my favorite pieces of music from any band. the way the melody sweeps back and forth until it finally stops. it's a beautiful sound, it makes me think of rocking slowly to a peaceful sleep after a long, sorrow-filled day.

The song is beautiful. Like sortilequs it's the type of song to listen to after a long hard day, and you just drift to sleep with it.

Snogger's description is kind of cool. Makes you almost wish that is what was really sung.

Oh music, how I love thee

Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”

There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
