"Solitary Man" as written by and Neil Diamond....
Belinda was mine 'til the time that I found her
Holdin' Jim
And lovin' him
Then Sue came along, loved me strong, that's what I thought
Me and Sue,
But that died, too

Don't know that I will but until I can find me
A girl who'll stay and won't play games behind me
I'll be what I am
A solitary man
Solitary man

I've had it here, being where love's a small word
A part time thing
A paper ring
I know it's been done havin' one girl who loves me
Right or wrong
Weak or strong

Don't know that I will but until I can find me
The girl who'll stay and won't play games behind me
I'll be what I am
A solitary man
A solitary man

Don't know that I will but until love can find me
And the girl who'll stay and won't play games behind me
I'll be what I am
A solitary man
A solitary man

Solitary man

General Commenti cant believe nobody has commented this one yet!

    it's such an adorable song.
he's just looking for someone to love him as much as he loves her.
    so cute.
no matter the circumstances, she still's gotta love him.
    not a "part time thing"
more like a "til death do us part" thing

    chaknow?

General CommentI think its Melinda and not Belinda.
I love it more than the Neil Diamond original.

Also I'm appalled to see so few comments!! People in the US are busy finding hidden meanings in hip hop songs, i guess ;)

General CommentI think part of the reason nobody's commented on it is that it's a pretty straight forward song...there's no hidden meaning.

and I'm pretty sure it's "I've had it TO here"

General CommentMmm. This is probably my favorite version as well, although I'm not affraid to admit I like HIMs version as well. Incedently, im pretty sure its Melinda as well. Fun Fact - the backing vocals during the chorus are from an uncredited Bob Dylan. Listen to it and you'll wonder why you didnt pick it before.
