"Deliverance" as written by and Johan/larsson Duncanson....
they’re out to get me
try to upset me
and interpret me
can’t they just let me?

I’ve got five
due tomorrow night
I’m alright when I’m not sober
blend the green and brown
before I leave this town
all night will be over

and they don’t know you
not like I know you
try to outgrow you
what does that show you?

I’ve got five
due tomorrow night
stay down and come over
blend the green and brown
before we leave this town
all night will be over

General Commenti have no idea what this song is about, i think this one might be more about the way it sounds. if you haven't actually heard this, you should, i don't know where this band gets it from, but they are AMAZING.

General CommentAlong with "Keen on Boys", this is yet another reason why The Radio Dept. is among my favorite bands. This song is simply amazing.

This song is hard to interpret, but for some reason I just get it. You know what I mean? It's just 1 of those songs.

Was the narrator bothered by a group of people? Perhaps trying to figure him out, whether it be his sexual preference or what-have-you? Perhaps an addiction with alcohol? I dunno.

    I love this song.

    My favorite line:
"and they don't know you/not like I know you/try to outgrow you/what does that show you?"
