He can't forget you
You're quite a find
In my mind I see how he gets you
To close your eyes
Kiss the skies

You race down the stairs in the morning
A kiss is half promise, half warning

Why would you bother to hang around?
Even for some time, now
There will be others to frown upon
If it turns you on

But he's got the worst taste in music
If I didn't know this I'd lose it

He's got the worst taste in music
If I didn't know this I'd lose it

    My Interpretation

I think this song is about jealousy. The narrator of the song is in a relationship with a girl who is seeing her ex boyfriend. "He can't forget you, you're quite a find" speaks about how her ex boyfriend wants her back, and even though the narrator knows that the girl does not want her ex boyfriend back, he feels jealous and can't help thinking about the two of them together. "In my mind I see how he gets you to close your eyes"

"A kiss is half promise, half warning" I think this is about how the girl tries to reassure him that she does not want her ex back, as in, she is giving him a kiss to promise him nothing is going to happen but also to warn him not to become jealous.

The narrator is asking himself why his girlfriend is seeing her ex, "Why would you bother to hang around?" Because to him, she could hang out with any other guy "There will be others to frown upon, if it turns you on", but the fact that she is seeing her ex is killing him. The narrator feels inferior to her ex boyfriend and is afraid that she might go back to him, but to console himself he is thinking of the little things that makes him feel better "But he's got the worst taste in music If I didn't know this I'd lose it".

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
