Some of us get a little
And some a lot
We've got to make due
With what ever we got
We get it hot we cool it down
And then we pass it around

You can dance
For the sake of a golden day
Take a chance on getting rid
Of whatever's in your way
Next stop big hop
It's turning night into day

Sometimes when
I'm lying there all alone
I think of every little nothing
That we could own
To overthrow all of you
Who have overgrown

All my friends
Like to spend
Days on end
On the mend
I turn to you
I turn into
And then I turn it again

Here we go
All we know
Heavy load
Start to float
Without a doubt
We turn it out
And then we turn it again, woo

I've come to learn
Whatever time I can find to spend
Taking flight into
Whatever light we bend
Out on the street
I get a beat and then
I turn it to ten

Lace boots and the
Ladies of Kazakhstan
Kick 'em high to the sky
All of this just because we can
I turn to Cuba
Then Aruba then the Dominican

All my friends
Like to spend
Days on end
On the mend
I turn to you
I turn into
And then I turn it again

Here we go (two things I want to say now)
All we know
Heavy load (you make it all okay now)
Start to float
Without a doubt (I need to know that you are there)
We turn it out
And then we turn it again

We've got to move it
If we want to do our best
We've got to shake it
If we want to keep it fresh

I'm turning down
All the heavy psychology
To cut a rug
And I make no apology
I turn a cheek
I turn a key
And then I turn it for free

We've got to move it
Just a little to hit the spot
A whirling dervish in a flurry
A fox to trot
Come clown around
A robot
Doin' the astronaut

All my friends
Like to spend
Days on end
On the mend
I turn to you
I turn into
And then I turn it again

Here we go (two things I want to say now)
All we know
Heavy load (you make it all okay now)
Start to float
Without a doubt (I need to know that you are there)
We turn it out
And then we turn it again

Ha after i heard THAT solo i made the mistake of trying to learn it on my guitar ...... my how stupid i felt afterwards haha

Awesome song without a doubt! I only wish that they had ended the album with this song instead of Death Of A Martian, but then again i don't think i'm worthy to question any decision made by these men :D

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
