This is one of my favorite songs. https://fnfgo.io
We've walked together down this winding road,
In search of something true. Together we grew.
But now our journey has come to an end,
And it's on to something new. For me and you.
So goodbye, my friend.
Until we meet again,
Some other day.
I know so much will change.
But looking back I can say,
I wouldn't change a day.
I hope you can say, I hope you can say
The same.
So many memories, we got to make,
the challenges we met. I'll never forget.
'cause those lessons made us who we are today,
Now we're taking the next step. Without a regret.
No regret.
So goodbye, my friend.
Until we meet again,
Some other day.
I know so much will change.
But looking back I can say,
I wouldn't change a day.
I hope you can say, I hope you can say
I hope you can say,
The same.
Hold on to you, Hold on to you
'til I get to the end. I would do it again! Do it again!
So goodbye, my friend.
Until we meet again,
Some other day.
I know so much will change.
But looking back I can say,
I wouldn't change a day.
I hope you can say, I hope you can say
I hope you can say,
That you understand,
The only life we have,
Is here and now,
Not up in the clouds.
With every breath we can say,
It is a brand new day.
I know I can say,
I know I can say!
I know I can say,
The same!
In search of something true. Together we grew.
But now our journey has come to an end,
And it's on to something new. For me and you.
So goodbye, my friend.
Until we meet again,
Some other day.
I know so much will change.

No regret.

Until we meet again,

I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.
I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.
Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
American Town
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran shares a short story of reconnecting with an old flame on “American Town.” The track is about a holiday Ed Sheeran spends with his countrywoman who resides in America. The two are back together after a long period apart, and get around to enjoying a bunch of fun activities while rekindling the flames of their romance.
Oh, that rat bastard. This song reminds me of this ass that totally wanted me but he let some whore and her whorish ways get to him so I got stuck in the PROVERBIAL FRIEND CATERGORY. Fuckin' crap is what that is. And you know what I have to say to him? Goodbye, my friend, until we meet again some other day; I know so much will change, lookin back what can I say? I WOULDN'T CHANGE A DAY AND I HOPE YOU CAN SAY YOU UNDERSTAND.
this song remembers me of "hello again" .. on the 1st disc
This song personally, i think is about their band member Markkuu who left the band (as far as I know cuz he's not listed as a band member anymore) so I think they're just sayin we had an awesome time, did you? which is awesome cuz bands curse their former members
This is my favorite song on the new c.d. It's a positive message about leaving, because sometimes moving on is for the best, and while it's bittersweet, it's best to look back on the good things that have happened. It also shows the potential of a future meeting because "so much will change". It could even be about dying, because if you have cancer and can't help it, it just means that you are looking back on the good parts of life.
Like the greenday song (whatshername), "forgeting you but not the time".
Even if you are breaking up, you sometimes must admit those times were AWESOME and you wouldn't change a single day. After almost 6 years with this guy, i decided to move on, and that was for the best. Even so, i cant (and i wont) forget every day, every laugh and every kiss.
And i hope you can say the same!
