The truth is
I really don't want you seeing me like this
But even I can't always laugh
Like a clown

Get wet on rainy days, dry off on sunny days
It's a given you'll be shivering on cold days
Forget it on the next day, and and windy days, I'll try flying
That's how it is

You've never cried
But you're really weak
When someone looks at you
When they're kind to you
You may feel like crumbling, but

Get wet on rainy days, dry off on sunny days
It's a given you'll be shivering on cold days
Forget it on the next day, and and windy days, I'll try flying
That's how we are, see?

Go cry
Go smile
It's something good to do to live as you want
I'm on your side
Your life is all yours
So don't let other people force you to be good
Be kind to yourself

Get wet on rainy days, dry off on sunny days
It's a given you'll be shivering on cold days
Forget it on the next day, and and windy days, I'll try flying
So
Freeze on snowy days, get scared of the thunder
You can see really well on days when the moon is out
Forget it on the next day, and and windy days, I'll try flying
That's how it is, that's how we are

General CommentIt's about a man (or a woman) who is trying to break down the wall that their significant others has built. They never show emotion, never complaining about the weather, never doing anything for themselves, letting the world dictate who they are and what they feel. And, despite their walls, they are really weak and in need of approval and love but afraid to show their true selves for fear of rejection or humiliation.
