"Friend For Five Minutes" as written by and David Leslie Walls....
Friend for five minutes

All alone, colour yourself opinionnaire,
You amuse me but mostly yourself
We're in hell, hell is white and full of halos
of silos over heads of the clones
everlone

Be my friend for five minutes, five minutes,
That's all you can
Be my friend for five minutes, five minutes,
That's all you can
Be my friend and leave me alone

Draw the line, for yourself you're doing fine
The most interesting person alive in your mind
You can talk about the world in a bombshell;
That's how you survive
In your mind

Be my friend for five minutes, five minutes,
That's all you can
Be my friend for five minutes, five minutes,
That's all you can
Be my friend and leave me alone

Be my friend for five minutes, five minutes,
That's all you can
Be my friend for five minutes, five minutes,
That's all you can
Be my friend for five minutes, five minutes,
That's all you can
Be my friend for five minutes, five minutes,
That's all you can
Be my friend for (be my) be my friend for (friend)
Be my friend for (be my) be my friend for (friend)
Be my friend for (be my) be my friend for (friend)
Be my friend for (be my) be my friend for (friend)
Be my friend for (be my) be my friend for (friend)
Be my friend for (be my) be my friend for (friend)
Be my friend for (be my) be my friend for (friend)

General CommentPretty good interpretation of the lyrics I think - they are bloody hard to decipher.

Not exactly sure what the song is about, but Mark Keds joined the band and recorded the B-sides to the 'Just in Lust' single (including this song). He then left the band quite inconveniently shortly after - he was there for about 5 minutes!

General CommentI heard that Keds only played on this song, making the name even more apt.
