"Tim-Tayshun (Temptation)" as written by and Arthur/brown Freed....
You came, I was alone
I should have known you were temptation
You smiled, luring me on
My heart was gone, you were temptation
It would be thrilling
If you were willing
If it can never be
Pity me for you are temptation and I am yours

Here is my heart, take it and say
We'll never part
I'm just a slave
Only a slave to you, temptation
You were born to be kissed
I can't resist.

You are temptation and I am yours
Here is my heart, take it and say
We'll never part
I'm just a slave
Only a slave to you, temptation

General CommentMy father had this record when I was a kid. I hadn't heard it in years...and yet I know a few of the lyrics aren't quite right. Is there no option to suggest corrections? That's why I signed up. I was hoping to help. In fact the very first line is wrong. It should be "rosin on the bow" (it's something they put on bows). Also it's "sorghum tempts the bee" (it's a sweet grass used to make syrup. And while I am not QUITE as sure of these two, I believe its "to lure me on" and "just born to be kissed"
