"This Suffering" as written by Aaron Solowoniuk, Jon Gallant, Ian D'sa and Ben Kowalewicz....
Like a dagger drawn across my chest,
Shoots a bullet in Russian roulette,
You said you'd never turn your back on me,
Rescue me, rescue me,
Would you stand by me and bury me?
Bury me,
Why don't we end this lie,
I can't pretend this time,
I need a friend to find my broken mind,
Before it falls to pieces!!

Every time you try to leave me blind,
You'll never close my eyes,
You'll never close my eyes and watch me die!!

And when she spins the bottle round and round,
Every time it leaves me kept and bound,
You said you'd never turn your back on me,
Rescue me, rescue me,
Would you stand by me and bury me?
Bury me,
Why don't we end this lie,
I can't pretend this time,
I need a friend to find my broken mind,
Before it falls to pieces!!

End this lie I cant pretend,
This time I need a friend to find my broken mind,
Before it falls to pieces,
Every time you try to leave me blind,
You'll never close my eyes,
You'll never close my eyes and watch me die!!

Misery won't get the best of me,
Cause now I'm calling, yes I'm calling on your bluff!!

Misery won't get the best of me,
Cause now I'm calling, yes I'm calling on your bluff!!

Don't tell your lies I've had enough!!!

Why don't we end this lie,
I can't pretend this time,
I need a friend to find my broken mind,
Before it falls to pieces,
Every time you try to leave me blind,
You'll never close my eyes,
You'll never close my eyes and watch me die,

End this lie I cant pretend,
This time I need a friend to find my broken mind,
Before it falls to pieces!!

Every time you try to leave me blind,
You'll never close my eyes,
You'll never close my eyes and watch me die!!

    General CommentI'm pretty sure
"Yeah you should never turn your back on me."
    is actually
"You said you'd never turn your back on me."

General CommentI got these lyrics from another site, but switched around a few words that I thought were wrong to what I thought was right. The "Devil in a Midnight Mass" lyrics are wrong on this site. Those were the Demo lyrics, they have an album version out now. The new lyrics are a bit different, and are sung different also. It's way too late for me to even try to tell you what I think this song means though, maybe tomorrow. By the way this song is most likely another demo, meaning that the lyrics might change June 27th when their album comes out. Download the song anyways, it's hard to find but worth it if you're a fan.

General CommentI really like this song, it makes me think of their song Nothing To Loose. I think it's the lyrics- "I can't pretend this time.
I need a friend to find my broken mind,
Before it falls to peices." Awesome song though, I can't wait for the new CD XD ^__^

General Comment"So you know when you first start dating somebody, and there's those, I think it's the glory months, where you spend two or three months with this person, and everything they do is perfect, the way they laugh, the way they snore, and just the shit they do is so endearing and you love it. You know that? And then after about six or seven months those same things that you found endearing, you f*cking hate them now because of those things? That's what this song's about."

A quote from Ben at some gig he did. I just watched the live vdeio for it.

    General CommentI second SplodgeBunny's corrections.

That said I would like to talk about the song. In my opinion it is about someone liking/loving someone else who doesn't seem to like/love them back. Because of that russian roulette line I'd say that the beloved person behaves quite unfair in a way that he/she seems to be give the narrator the feeling that there could be more. The rest of the songs revolves about the sour feelings of the narrator.

    Just my two cents...
