Everyone loves a drama
Everyone loves the drama
[x2]

Let's set the stage on fire
And Hollywood will be jealous
(When the lights go out)
[x2]

Everyone loves a drama
Everyone loves the drama
[x2]

As she stared into the night
was the castle dressed in white
Behind her virgin eyes
the mirror image of her plague
And darkness overcame
until she screamed alone in vain
Oh how lovely as she gasps,
yet so innocently sleeping
And forever she will haunt,
now manifest this disease
The misfortune of the weak,
Ill tell you what it is
Walk down these tragic steps
Disappearing with no trace, nothing left

This was the perfect murder
The perfect murder
In the ballroom with a glass,
remembering it all at last
The memory of her first kiss
led to a series of unfortunate events
She'll dance to the sound of the clock
striking twelve

Why won't you finish the job?
[x2]

Let's set the stage on fire
And Hollywood will be jealous
[x2 quiet]

Let's set the stage on fire
And Hollywood will be jealous
[keeps repeating]

This is the most popular song by Drop Dead, Gorgeous. The famous lines, are found from the chorus:

"Let's set the stage on fire... And Hollywood will be jealous"

[: Pretty much THE hardcore shizza.

I love this song so much, Drop Dead Gorgeous OWN!

Is the female in the song a metaphor for Hollywood? I get that kind of impression somehow.

Either way, fucking awesome song without a doubt.

    Screamo at it's finest xD

i'd have to agree with you all. and i think that its a tie between "dressed for friend requests" and "the show must go on" for MOST POPULAR DDG SONGS. haha. like we're keeping track?

its a gorgeous song. one of my favorites.

i think its about love in general. and how it always starts off amazingly wonderful..and it usually ends bad. usually. and in all ddg songs it ends bad haha.

DDG rocks and their most popular song right now probubly is dressed for a friend. but anyway I think ther's deffinatly some ties with cinderella in here i mean. IN the ballroom, she'll dance to the sound of the clock stricking twelve. As she stared into the night was the castle dressed in white Behind her virgin eyes the mirror image of her plague but ya other than that i pretty much agree with everyone else.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
