"Voodoo Too" as written by Salvatore P. Erna, Tony Rombola, James Shannon Larkin and Rob Merrill....
Open your eyes
A chill passes you by
A premonition coming strong,
Rich with desire
A superstition in disguise
Draws me into where I belong

Have you ever wondered why
In a dream you can touch a fallen sky
Or fly to the heavens that watch over you
Telling me its all voodoo
Voodoo too

Instill the body
So warm with every breath
Dance to a vision so seductive
Rain down upon me
Cleanses me with every drip
A seance you promised for the nourishment
That I've been gifted

[Chorus:Repeat x2]

[Chorus:Repeat x2]

It's just voodoo too
It's all voodoo too
It's just what you to

General CommentTo me it sounds like Sully is singing about the religion Wicca. I mean, that's what I've heard.. I'm still trying to find out what it means.

General CommentI won't bash you mynamehere040, but I will say you are incorrect in naming it a 'ripoff', because it is a sequel, as you can tell from the opening.
This seems like speculation on dreams, and the extraordinarily weird feeling that people get sometimes when waking up. Almost seems like you are returning from some odd dimension where voodoo reigns, or beings that live in a sort of heaven that lie and say it is voodoo, or some such (commonly believed) phony religion.
I've probably missed the mark by a mile or so, and killed a cow or farmer, but that's my idea.

General CommentFor all you people who say this song is "boring"...ummm...wth? This song isn't supposed to be fast and it isn't supposed to keep you occupied...

This song is very...tribal...and intoxicating... His voice is calm and monotone because its supposed to give you a kind of trace like feeling. So it is almost like he is hypnotizing you. The lyrics are really good.

"Instill the body... So warm with every breath
Dance to a vision so seductive
Rain down upon me... it cleanses me with every drip
A scent you've promised for the nourishment that I've been gifted"

very very good. Sometimes its more than just instrumenals....listen to the song again and focus on the sound of his voice and how he says the lyrics. =D

My Interpretation'Voodoo' is the term most commonly used by prejudiced people who do not understand Witchcraft.

"Have you ever wondered why in a dream you can touch a falling sky?
Or fly to the heavens that watch over you?"

The implied answer is because it's astral projection, which every human who is not totally arrogant can possibly have some experience with. So you experience these premonitory dreams, and yet you are

"Telling me it's all (just) Voodoo"?Basically speaking to the people about HOW to FEEL... every who is no a complete arrogant prick can feel it, how it is "All just Voodoo"?
