"Happiness Is Eggshaped" as written by and John Squire....
Happiness is eggshaped
And love's a circle with no end
It's only four o'clock in the morning
And you're still driving me 'round the bend

I'll tell you something, I'll tell you, it's true
I've got a letter to send to you

It's twenty feet tall and it's sprayed on a wall
I'm gonna post from a fifth floor window
Yeah, yeah, crash it right down on your car
I don't know maybe then that'll teach you
Not to kiss the sky too hard

I'll tell you something, I'll tell you true
I've got a letter to send to you
You're too busy dreaming so what am I gonna do?

I got to get you right off from my back
'Cause you're no fun, girl
My whole world's turning black
'Cause you're no fun, girl

I know it's two sides to every story
You can keep your kiss of death
'Cause I choose glory, yeah

Happiness is eggshaped
And love's a circle with no end
It's only four o'clock in the morning
And you're still driving me 'round the bend

I'll tell you something, I'll tell you, it's true
I've got a letter to send to you
You're too busy dreaming so what am I gonna do?

I got to get you right off from my back
'Cause you're no fun, girl
My whole world's turning black
'Cause you're no fun, girl

I know it's two sides to every story
You can keep your kiss of death
'Cause I choose glory, yeah

General CommentYou can get this song on the album "Do It Yourself". I would highly recomend this album. Title is copying the beatles "Happiness is a warm gun" (a penis is a warm gun) Use the same rule here. As for the lyrics, it's mostly about John Squire's bust up with former friend and bandmate Ian Brown.

General CommentI remember reading in my "Very Best Of The Stone Roses" booklet that one of the bandmembers described being in the band is like being part of an egg or some crap, meaning they kept eachother protected, so this song is probably about being in The Stone Roses or leaving them or something, I haven't payed attetion to the lyrics cause I am lazy.
