I've seen the dark spot on your soul
I've felt you cruel, I've held you cold
I know the parts of you that you don't think you show
But I still love you

I've seen you looking at yourself
And wishing you were someone else
Wondering if I might go and leave you all alone
But I still love you

I love you
Glad to be alive
You saved me
You didn't have to
But I thank God

You've seen how selfish I can be
You've seen my pettyness and greed
But I'd forgive you anything
For you to love me

You saw me curled up and crying
You saw me hopeless and blind
You loved me even though you knew
I'd still love you too

I love you
Glad to be alive
You saved me
You didn't have to
But I thank God

I've seen the worst of you it's true
But it's the smallest part of you
Yeah, it's the smallest part of you
And I still love you, I do

It's the smallest part of you
And I still love you, I do
I still love you
I still love you, I do

General Comment:This song is completely sweet. I think it's just the notion that you could find someone who you love and who loves you back completely, even the bad parts of you. Someone you've loved for a long time. I think it's wonderful. I wonder if it's about Laurel? :)

General Comment:I see this as a song from a man to his wife after years of marriage.
The worst being the smallest part, wonderful depiction of true love. Not the young uncertain love most artists write about.
