General CommentThis song has to be one of the catchiest French songs sung in an overly strong American accent that doesn't sound anything close to bad ;]. Anyway, the translation from dictionary.com along w/mine is:

I sit down, naked by the ground
    in water and dirt.
    It is time for rain,
it saw semi-sparkling beads on its sleeve,
    the rain was soft.

    April so beautiful
    April so cruel
April my dear, I had forgotten the winter
    April so beautiful
    April so cruel
April my dear, was the month for my liking

    For tomorrow against its
    word for driving back,
    the sun comes before.
    I put an important melody,
I have the sun that rereads.

    April so beautiful
    April so cruel
April my dear, I had forgotten the winter
    April so beautiful
    April so cruel
April my dear, was the month for my liking.

I had the sun in my eyes. Makes more sense to me.
