"There Could Be Nothing After This" as written by and Timothy/gillespie Mctague....
In the end we tend to think of how it began
I could never explain the picture it painted,
And how it made me feel
Now the ceiling is in motion
The light centered and overlooked
You want to see me disappear? Well, so do I
Such a quiet evaporation

We're nothing but hollow vessels in search
Of what makes us alive
I never said this was my revolution when
You looked me in the eye
Oh, how I've walked this white line so
Many times before
What a feeble attempt just to feel alive

This is for you and your hopeless case
You never would leave me in your wish to
Fail every time
Every time I try

So talk about it
At least it makes you feel something inside

Who have I become
Oh God, everything all around me is
Crumbling at my feet

I stare so delicate and ashamed
At the shell I've shed myself from

In the eyes of my ghost
And I will never look back again

General CommentHe says, "We're nothing but hollow vessels in search of what makes us alive," which rings very true to me. It seems like we're often taking whatever chance we can to figure out why we're here.

But Spencer is saying that he doesn't need to walk the white line because that isn't his "revolution" - It isn't the way he focuses the turning of his time. He recognizes what a mistake he would be making if he devoted himself to something fleeting.

I'm not sure, but I believe he's saying that there's somebody who's devoted to him, but he's certain they're taking a risk by doing so - "this is for you and your hopeless case". Every time he tries to fail, the person chooses to do so too just to stay at his side.

At the end, I believe's being judged for what he's done. But without sin, he's delicate and ashamed of who he was now that he's renounced the shell of his short-comings. He says that by looking at who he was he will never make the same mistakes again.

"In the eyes of my ghost, I will never look back again."

General CommentAlot of this sounds wrong, but I can\'t make it out either. Not right now anyway.

I know at the end the parts:
    I not well I know
    &
    Round the well And all

    are both supposed to be:
    I\'m not aware at all

And the final line in the song is:
    I am awake

    General CommentThis:
As you gave the earth your all
I will shake my teeth into the floor
    When i wait here alone
And as i begin to preach, The choir
    While i lay here
    I lie

    Sounds more like:
As you dig your feet in
I will sink my teeth into the floor
    While I lay here alone
[As i begin to preach, The choir]
    While I lay here alone

General CommentReal lyrics from the Cd booklet:

In the end, we tend to think of how it began.
I could never explain the picture it painted, and how it made me feel.
Now the ceiling is in motion.
    The light centered and overlooked.
You want to see me disappear? Well, so do I.

    Such a quiet evaporation.

We're nothing but hollow vessels in search of what makes us alive.
I never said this was m y revolution when you looked me in the eye.
Oh, how I've walked this white line so many times before.
What a feeble attempt, just to feel alive.

This is for you and your hopeless case.
You never would leave me in your wish to fail every time, every time I try.

So talk about it, at least it makes you feel something inside.

    Who have I become?
Oh God, everything all around me is crumbling at my feet.

I stare so delicate and ashamed
at the shell I've shed myself from
