I see no hear no evil, black writing's on the wall
Unleashed a million faces and one by one they fall
Black-hearted evil or brave-hearted hero
I am all, I am all I am

I am
Here we go, buddy (x5)

Go ahead and try to see through me
Do it if you dare
One step forward, two steps back, I'm here
Do it (x4)

Can you see all of me?
Walk into my mystery
Step inside and hold on for dear life
Do you remember me?
Capture you or set you free
I am all, I am all of me
I am, I'm all of me

I see and feel the evil, my hands will crush 'em all
You think you have the answer, I'll laugh and watch you fall
Black-hearted evil or brave-hearted hero
I am all, I am all I am

I am
Here we go, buddy (x5)

Go ahead and try to see through me
Do it if you dare
One step forward, two steps back, I'm here
Do it (x4)

Can you see all of me?
Walk into my mystery
Step inside and hold on for dear life
Do you remember me?
Capture you or set you free
I am all, I am all of me
I am, I'm all of me

I am, I am everyone, everywhere, anyhow
Anyway, any will, any day
I am
Do it (x4)

Can you see all of me?
Walk into my mystery
Step inside and hold on for dear life
Do you remember me?
Capture you or set you free
I am all, I am all of me
I am, I'm all of me

I don't see anything wrong with the exception of a few parts that aren't really understandable (I'm There/Keep it Going/etc.) So I won't argue. I'm terribly surprised this song doesn't have more comments. This is without a doubt (for me) the best song from a Sonic series game with the exception of Wrapped in Black. Despite the mixed views on Shadow the Hedgehog, I loved the game and I very much love the music that came with it.

Sing this from a first person view. Its saying "You won't stop me, I'll keep going. I might seem down or mean, but I'm going to go on." If I'm right, I'll prove it. No matter how many people are against me.

I love this song, Shadow is a great villian/anti-hero he is probably one of the more realistic characters in Sonic as he isn't all black and white. He can be heroic or he will do things for his own benefit, does as he pleases.

This song pretty much describes that. People aren't black and white. You can call someone a hero but that doesn't mean they can't do evil things or have evil thoughts. There is no black and white, only gray =P This for me is the best Crush 40 song.

The only thing I question in these lyrics is "mystery" from what I hear it's "walk into my HISTORY"

This song, to me, is about figuring out the truth behind yourself, and choosing whether you're going to fight for or against the heroes of our time.

it was made for the shadow the hedgehog game which fits it because you could be evil and take the bad way through the game or you could be the hero and go the good way which is why its more or less asking

Black hearted evil? Brave hearted hero?

Fast Car
Tracy Chapman
"Fast car" is kind of a continuation of Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run." It has all the clawing your way to a better life, but in this case the protagonist never makes it with her love; in fact she is dragged back down by him. There is still an amazing amount of hope and will in the lyrics; and the lyrics themselve rank and easy five. If only music was stronger it would be one of those great radio songs that you hear once a week 20 years after it was released. The imagery is almost tear-jerking ("City lights lay out before us", "Speeds so fast felt like I was drunk"), and the idea of starting from nothing and just driving and working and denigrating yourself for a chance at being just above poverty, then losing in the end is just painful and inspiring at the same time.

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Punchline
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran sings about missing his former partner and learning important life lessons in the process on “Punchline.” This track tells a story of battling to get rid of emotions for a former lover, whom he now realized might not have loved him the same way. He’s now caught between accepting that fact and learning life lessons from it and going back to beg her for another chance.
