"There's Us" as written by and Ward/wells....
There's me, looking down at my shoes
The one smiling like the sun, that's you
What were you thinking
What was the song inside your head

There's us, going on about a band
Working out how we play our hands
I lay there dreaming, later on alone in my bed
If I was stupid, maybe careless, so are you

Not everything is supposed to come true
Some words are best unsaid
Some love is not really love at all
I'll keep everything I shared with you
And that's enough, there's us

Freeze frame, I'm not about to cry
It's too late for us to change, why try
I've got a camera tucked away inside my heart
If I'm a loser, or just unlucky, so are you

Not everything is supposed to come true
Some words are best unsaid
Some love is not really love at all
I'll keep everything I shared with you
And that's enough, there's us

Somewhere between then and now
I looked away when you said we'll never change
And if you think what might've been
You'll lose today and we've got songs to play

Not everything is supposed to come true
Some words are best unsaid
Some love is not really love at all
I'll keep everything I shared with you
And that's enough, there's us

Not everything is supposed to come true
Some words are best unsaid
Some love is not really love at all
I'll keep everything I shared with you
And that's enough,
There's us
There's us
There's us

General Commenti think this song is great. i think it's about when you go out with some one who is close to you, and you really start to love them, but when things fall apart, you know that it will be okay because the friendship's love will always be there, no matter what.

General CommentHow can there only be 2 comments on this song. It is beautiful.
I think she is talking about a relationship that went wrong and she is saying that no matter what happens between them they will always have the memories of when they were together.
And with the chorus she is saying that everything that they felt may have just been true at the time. Like in the line "Some love is not really love at all." I think she is saying that in retrospect she realizes that they really didn't truly love each other. And I think she asked him if they would ever be together again and he told her no, hence the line "Somewhere between then and now, I looked away when you said We'll never change."
I relate this entire song to my exboyfriend. Just about a relationship that changed you more than you ever expected it to. And I think that she is saying that she will always care about him no matter what.

General Commentthis song is so beautiful. to me, its about being in love with a certain person, and when you feel like everything is falling apart, you realize that when you really love someone, nothing is strong enough to ruin it. in the begining of the song, it feels like she is talking about looking at a picture, and she is recalling the memories she had. the chorus is all about how sometimes things don't work out. i love this song.!

General CommentThis is in fact, a beautiful song. I agree with chibipocky. This song is about falling in love with possibly a close friend, and even though they broke up because it wasn't in fact love, they'll always have their friendship. Sort of reminds me of Cool by Gwen Stefani.

General Commentthis song isn't about friendship at all. it played on the show when tommy dumped jude again and left her without explanation to chase after darius' kid. at this point, jude didn't know what to make of her relationship with tommy. she knew he cared about her, maybe loved her, but was completely unable to commit. was it love? infatuation? were they just afraid? yet, it doesn't really matter because it was special, no matter the circumstances, and whether it worked out or not she'll always have the memories and what could have been. i'm still pissed at the end of this show. jude needed to be on her own, but i wish tommy had been endgame.
