"Bobbing for Apples" as written by and Regina Spektor....
Bobbing for apples in Somalia
The man with the iron curtain is following you
No one's coming for tea-time
Except my own holy ghost
You're somewhere far, probably drinking a whiskey
I dating Jack Daniel's and Caleb and Swiss Miss, Nicky and tea,
Nachos with cocoa hey, to each his own
Lovely people, lovely places
I can't remember names and I can't remember faces
Someone next door's fucking to one of my songs

Hey, light fixture, you are much too bright
Oh, won't you stay with me through the night
Just grab a pillow tight
And wait for the dizziness to pass
Rock and roll, you ate my soul
You sucked dry my bones but you spit out my mole
I'll always opt to fall down these stairs in the end
Lovely people, lovely places
Drunken faces, slurring their phrases
I'll always opt to fall down these stairs in the end

You so jealous, I'm so lonely
You'll never forgive me but I love you only
I'll always opt to fall down these stairs in the end

You so jealous, I'm so lonely
You'll never forgive me but I love you only

Someone next door's fucking to one of my songs
Someone next door's fucking to one of my songs
Someone next door's fucking to one of my
One of my
So-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-aww
Someone next door's fucking to one of my songs

General CommentREGINA!!!!!! God. She sings in Latin, English, French, and Russian. She plays piano and guitar absolutely beautiful, she writes and compses the music for these songs that have changed my life, her voice, singing and speaking, is so so adorable, she can pull off any style of music, she is stunning, and, obviously, a genius, and, as someone already said, she makes fucking sound cute. Tell me, is there anything she can't do?

General CommentDon't you love how Regina is a quiet, shy woman from a good Russian Jewish family, is classically trained in piano yet throws more sex and drug references into her songs than you average middle-aged male rockstar? lol

General CommentAbout the "you're somewhere far probably drinking a whiskey...-part" that's so damn hard to hear, could she be saying: "I'm dating Jack Daniels and Caleb's with Miss Nicky"? It seems a bit more logical -to me at least-, but maybe it is as you've written... Just tought I'd ask if some one had figured it out yet.

General Commenti think i is quite plausably miss nicky-tine.. or something like that. Seeing the vice in the things it follows i think nicotine, with an annunciated twist, would make tons of sense.

    any opinions?

General CommentDoes this song have anything to do with the tour she did? I see a reference to Kings of Leon so I was just asking.

General CommentI definitely think it's "I'm dating Jack Daniel's with Caleb's [actually the Caleb's thing is questionable but whatever] and Miss Nicky Tine." I love how she personifies the alcohol and cigarettes haha. Yeah, it would make a lot of sense if those were the words because she is so fond of being clever with her lyrics.

General CommentI love love LOVE how she says... "Someone next door's fucking to one of my... one of MY... songs." She was so cute about at the concert I saw her at... Everyone just cracked up.

General Comment"I'm dating Jack Daniels and Caleb's with Miss Nikki Tine
Nachos with cocoa -- hey, to each his own"

adamanteve is right, in my opinion. Jack Daniels is alcohol, so Miss Nikki Tine is most logical.

And, to be grammatically picky, there should be no apostrophe in nachos because they aren't possessing anything.
