"Lucky Dime" as written by and Joey Burns John Convertino....
Found a dime in the metro line
Funny to see a familiar face
Since you left us long ago
There's never been a trace of luck to guide me

hoping to see a sign
Or a lucky dime

searching as I go
Hoping to see a sign
Or a lucky'

someone told you long ago
All you ever needed to know
No matter how far you drift alone
I'll always be here around'

hoping to see a sign
Or a lucky dime

General Commenti think this song is about someone who can't let go of a past boyfriend/girlfriend and how they always hold on to a shred of hope even though they know it's hopeless. this person seems to have viewed their significant other as someone who was a supportive and good influence in their lives and the person seems lost without them.
