Here I start to define it
As a sign on my skin that I just try to wash away
Reminder
Infected, it’ll be painful to me

Life is so short
Close to the edge of another backdoor
Life is so sure!
…Life will be ready to twist up your world

Here it starts to enlighten
There’s a frame I can’t change that I just have to watch again
Reminder
Repressed inside me, it keeps repeating

Life is so short
Close to the edge of another backdoor
Life is so sure!
…Life will be ready to twist up your world

Life is so short
Close to the edge of another backdoor
Life is so sure!
…Life will be ready to twist up your world

General CommentWhat I get from this is basically...Coping with something, and realizing life is well, as they even write it, too short, and no matter what you kinda gotta keep at it, cause life just fucks with you.

General CommentOkay, I'm probably going to sound stupid, but I'm really reminded of The Crow when I listen to this. Just watch the movie and compare the lyrics, you'll see why.

General CommentTo me, this song is about making the same mistakes over and over in your life. You know better than to make them, you tell yourself that you'll do better, that you won't make them again, yet you keep on spinning your wheels and digging yourself in that much deeper.

The singer seems to acknowledge that life is too short to keep on doing this to herself, yet she's either unable or unwilling to make the changes necessary to stop from making these mistakes again.
