"Here Again (Last Conversation)" as written by and Charles Robert/westaway Simpson....
It's strange that I should meet you here
It's obvious we're desperate to comprehend the time that we have left
Even if we could
You would understand this conversation is the end of us

It hasn't been perfect for a long time
Now we're here again
You were just not supposed to hear this from the other side

The way we were
When we weren't the ghosts we've become
And even if we realized
A part of you is missing every time
You seem to wake yourself up

It hasn't been perfect for a long time
Now we're here again
You were just not supposed to hear this from the other side

If you fight it hard enough
You'll find a way to come back down
It takes all these memories
To be turned around and lived again
To go on and on and on and on

It hasn't been perfect for a long time
Now we're here again
You were just not supposed to hear this from the other side

(On and on till we're)
It had to be perfect for the last time
(Here again)
Now we're here again
(On and on till we're)
You were just not supposed to hear this
(Here again)
From the other side

General CommentOne of my favourites from the new album, although it's all just so awesome, one of the best albums I've bought in a long time.

Anyway, the song... Quite obviously about a relationship falling apart. But then... is it actually something else, some deeper meaning?

Grand Unification has been called a concept album, but not one with a story through it, instead with one theme. I'm not sure what the theme is, I've read somewhere the end of the world or something, although I could be - and probably am - wrong.

General Commentstrider sounds right, look at the album art, and lyrics such as build an army, and here "not suppossed to hear this from the otherside)

obviously a song with two meanings

    General CommentStrider, you're right.

The concept is the end of the world & a new generation coming & hopefully making a better world.

General CommentIt sounds almost like like it's about that answering machine message that Kaji left Misato. He left it with the knoledge that he would be dead when she got it. If you don't know what I'm talking about, this whole album is loosely based on an anime series calle Neon Genesis Evangelion. I'm not making this up. Look it up yourself.
