white light-sunrise-landslides
basement walls, bright light-bright eyes-despise
these phone calls. i'm laying in the bed all alone in the dark, mourning pictures of a brown haired boy with a smile.

i'm alone in my room, i'm alone in a crowd.
borading up the doors and windows
to keep me in- to keep you out.

curse of chiroptera, curse of the night eyes
life subterranean until my mouth dries.
lurk living lonely, luck living alone.

blades, shovels, and black duct tape at least
until the sun is shown- oh yeah and you can find the footprints in the morning and you can kill it sleeping in the morning-
you can kill it while it sleeps
silent gigils for my heart beat,
a lit candle for hope is all i keep
a child's funeral at which i weep

and you can turn the lights out as you're leaving.

General Commentat first i thought the song was about vampires (the title is an allergy to the sun but as i read the lyrics i beleieve that its about how we all miss our childhood when everything could be ours but when we reach the turing point in life we realize that we cant have everything
"you can kill it while it sleeps"
i think that line proves my pouint saying that you kill all thoes hopes your self one day while youm sleep. one day your dreaming the next day you relize that its highly unlikely that you will ever have it

General Commenti think he might be reminiscing about who he was, an innoncent child, and now he's realizing that he's not that innocent anymore...
"you can kill it while it sleeps"
i think the "it" is his innocence.
i know i'm way off though...
