"Trust" as written by and Dave/friedman Mustaine....
Gentlemen, how'd you get up there?
How you gonna get down?
Sweeping all the search lights above
Over the ground
And I shudder to think
That this is the catastrophe
That fate has in mind
And now buried are the feelings still alive
That you'll never find

They stopped digging for you long ago
My sacred soul, it won't be long

Boderline, and I cannot keep still
Your enemies have trained you
To wear a smile as you kill
And now buried alive
You can't deny
That worst of all
The joke was on you
Now you're scratching out a silent goodbye
With just a candle in a coffin and

They stopped digging for you long ago
My sacred soul, it won't be long
Look into my eyes
At the price I pay
Watch them fade away
Still the beat goes on

They stopped digging for you long ago
My sacred soul, it won't be long
Look into my eyes
At the price I pay
Watch them fade away
Still the beat goes on

The price I pay
The price I pay
The price I pay

General Commentthis song is really good, but i'm really confused as to why my file of the song "amaze disgrace" has this at the end. i can't tell if it's an error or intentional or what.. whatever. it's great!

General Comment"Amazedisgrace" on "Wake Pig" has Trust as a hidden track, as well as a drum solo, though I'm not sure if there's any difference between it and track 6 other than that.
This is probably one of my favourite 3 songs. Definitely spooky yet spiritual.

General CommentThe Amaze Disgrace version of Trust is about twice as long, but it's identical up until the drum solo, which is over 3 minutes by itself. The Amaze Disgrace version also might take a little longer to close / fade into silence. Mind you, it's some really awesome drumming.

Also something to think about, this isn't the first 3 song about the final thoughts of a dying person... compare to the song You've Been Shot. Although this one is a lot more... morose.
