"Sleeping By The Fyris River" as written by and Brun....
It´s dawn the crack of dawn
A saxophone
An armchair
And a small drum

Sunrise, all smiles
It´s crack of dawn by the Fyris River
Spring morning
We´re singing

The grass is wet from dew
And me and you from wine too
Keeping our feet up
Keeping our feet up
We´re sleeping by the Fyris River

Sleeping three people in
One armchair by the Fyris River
Sleeping three people in
One armchair by the Fyris River

It´s dawn the crack of dawn
A saxophone
An armchair
And a small drum
People passing by
The grass is almost dry
We´re sleeping by the Fyris River

General CommentAt the precise moment of reading and listening to the lyrics I can only think that 'Sleeping three people' ... is me, you and the power of fantasy or dreams, as she already alludes to just 'me and you from wine too' ? Maybe the third 'person' is the Dawn or the Saxophonist? It's a good song and a clever mystery ... A small drumist? But that would be four? Mmm? ...
