..and how your heatwave ran
Through our snow black fields
And we dropped our young
To a ragtime feel

And it’s been ten long weeks
And there’s still no word
Our Arctic Graceland
And the whale fat burn

My moon’s a naked cold star
Why do you take this so hard.

So keep this song
Til you catch diseases
And wait them out
Til this tundra freezes

..and how your heatwave ran
Through our snow black fields

My moon’s a naked cold star
Why do you take this so hard.

Helicopters are chasing
Animals through the fields
Helicopters are chasing
Our spirits into the sea

General CommentAwesome song. Everyone should hear this song, along with every other song on 'Without Feathers'. I think this new cd has a brighter tone compared to 'Logic Will Break You'. This is my second fav, 1st is Halo the harpoons the best song ever...

General CommentWhen I saw them live, Dave said that the idea for this song came from Tim being some sort of boy scout leader on some sort of wilderness field trip. Pretty sure he was full of it 'cos he seemed like the kind who likes to joke around, but ever since he said that, I've believed him.

And it's easy to get that outdoor imagery when listening to this song, so maybe he wasn't kidding after all.
