Just take it in stride. One breath and I think I feel free. All we can do is strive for the best thoughts, the best feelings, the warm fuzzy feelings. As a child, I believed these all came to me due to the process of living. Grab the wheel right now, and make this life yours. Walk with me. Leave me you disgusting fever. Take this life. Make it yours. Forgotten are the days of wandering pointlessly in my dreams. Carry me with your wings.

General CommentI agree with molson but I think that there may be something else to it. At the very end he says "Carry me with your wings". Knowing that they are very religous and that Jesus is sometimes said to raise people on his wings (Church Hymn: And He will raise you up on eagle's wings), I think he is saying that we should all take control of our lives and follow in the teachings of Jesus (Grab the wheel right now, and make this life yours. Walk with me)

General CommentThis song is about taking control of your life and leading it where you want it to go.
It talks about how when your a kid you just took what life handed you and new things became available when you got to a certain age (ie: stay home alone at 11/12 yrs old, learn to drive at 16 etc).
Where as now he's saying if you want it, then you go out and fucking get it now.
