"You Come Through" as written by and Polly Jean Harvey....
We are waiting
For the summer
The sun will bring back
Treasures for us

Come on my friend
Drink to good times
Golden wishes
To your health and mine

You come through
For me
You come true
For me
You be well
For me
You come through
For me

I'll be lifted
On this our holiday
I'll take you my friend
I'll take you with me

You come through
For me
You come true
For me
You be well
For me
You come through
For me

General CommentThis song is so moving- especially the version from The Peel Sessions compilation. One of those songs that seems so simple that it can be interpreted in so many ways (as much as I agree with patreznor, it seems so appropriate as a song of mourning too).

General CommentNobody posted on this? I can't believe it!

This songs reminds me of those summers when you fall in love. It's about a summer love, that kind of affair that you experience when you're not stressed. So she wants the summer to come to take out her stress and joy again that affair.

    Regretting better times, though.
