Didn't you want to hear
The sound of all the places we could go
Do you fear
The expressions on the faces we don't know
It's a cold hard road when you wake up
And I don't think that I
Have the strength to let you go

Maybe it's just me, couldn't you believe
That everything I said and did, wasn't just deceiving
And the tear in your eye, and your calm hard face
Makes me wish that I was never brought into this place

There goes my ring
It might as well have been shattered
And I'm here to sing
About the things that mattered
About the things that made us feel alive for oh so long
About the things that kept you on my side when I was wrong

Maybe it's just me, couldn't you believe
That everything I said and did, wasn't just deceiving
And the tear in your eye, and your calm hard face
Makes me wish that I was never brought into this place

And someday, I promise I'll be gone
And someday, I might even sing this song
To you, I might even sing this song, to you
And I was crying alone tonight
And I've been wasting all of my life just thinking of you
So just come back we'll make it better
So Just come back I'll make it
Better than it ever was [x2]

(I want it all, Don't leave right now)
(I'll give you everything)

(I want it all, Don't leave right now)
(I'll give you everything)

I think it's about a girl who's been in a past.. or a few past relationships where she got seriously hurt by the other person in the relationship after she put her trust in them, then she finds a new boy who has NO intentions on hurting her, but.. in her mind he just wants to hurt her in the end, so she hurts him first.

Maybe they ended up getting engaged and then she bretrayed him.. possibly not because she still thought he was going to hurt her, maybe just because she got into to it from fear of saying no to his proposal.."There goes my ring, might as well been shattered" Maybe even though he broke it off with her, he's still not over her.. and wants her back, now that she knows he won't hurt her like her past boys did.

hahah I don't know if any of this makes sense what-so-ever.

this song totally reminds me of my ex boyfriend; and for some reason, I still want him back even though it's been 8 months since we broke up.

Cant believe no one commented these songs yet!

I think it's about how someone in the relationship kept messing up or someone just wasnt feeling it anymore. But later down the road one oft hem or both of them cant forget all the good times and memories made and wish that things would somehow get back to the way they were.

    But maybe its just me....

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Plastic Bag
Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it. “I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.
