On days away
When we almost killed our own
We found a way
To be distracted then absolved

And if I leave you would you smile?
And it's not up for discussion
So don't ask tonight
Don't waste your time and walk away
It was futile anyway

We watched the blood boil
We still smiled

I'd kept my eye on who
Should have been watching you
And yes, I meant to hurt you
And kick your insides into touch

And if I leave you would you smile?
And it's not up for discussion
So don't ask tonight
Don't waste your time and walk away
It was futile anyway

Don't think I wanted you to stay
Don't think that I want you to stay

General CommentGreat song, I love the video when evryones just moshing around and getting drenched in blood, I think its getting toned down though. Shame. Top song anyway.

    General Commentayep tis indeed
I think this song is about the sheer anger and rage surrounding a relationship and how he wants to exploit it

General Commentbest song off the album definitely, the rest is a bit of a let down in comparison..

"and if i leave you will you smile"
maybe he thinks she's not happy with the relationship, but wants to make her happy?

also, its "i kept my eye on you, should have been watching you", not eye on who

General CommentPretty good. Kinda slow though at points and predictable.

General CommentThis song is great. Simple, but heavy. the "And yes, I meant to hurt you, and kick your insides into dust!" line is amazing.
