"Revelation 9" as written by and Von Carlisle Marshall Mathers....
This is evolution
The monkey
The man
And then the gun
If christ was in texas
The hammer
The sickle
The only son
This is your creation
The atom of eden
Was a bomb
If jack was the baptist
We'd drink wine
From the head

This is evolution
The monkey
The man
And then the gun

I am a revolution
Pull my knuckles down
If I could
I am a revelation
And I'm nailed
To the holy wood

This is evolution
The monkey
The man
And then the gun

We are dead and tomorrow's canceled
Because of things we did yesterday
We are dead and tomorrow's canceled
They crucify us in our space
In our space
In our space

This is evolution
The monkey
The man
And then the gun
Flies are waiting

My Opinionuhm, this is just a thought, but does anyone else seem to think he's speaking as satian?
like the..angry, phycotic, but pleasured tone he has kind of made me think of that. also like just about all the words to it.. i do think this is a great peice of work in a way though. it creeped me out at first but i read the words and..i don't know.

i also thought of him speaking as a rapist too. like witht he words: "don't you tell your mamma i was here!" i imagined a sick twisted man saying the words sopken in this to his helpless, scared victom.

    does anyone agree?

General CommentThese lyrics are not for Revelation #9. They're for Cruci-Fiction in Space.
