"Ledge" as written by Anna-lynne Williams, John Michael Williams, Matt Brown and Ross Simonini....
It's strange that it's you
That's doing this
Love's a window ledge
You're talking me down from it

Like you can talk it away
If I say this once
Don't talk me out of this
This one thing I have

You talk me out of everything
You're gently wearing me down
For you I'll play along
It's common as waking up
We'll blow it away

I'll give it up quietly
It's nothing
It's nothing, yet it's all right

General CommentThis person that she loves surprises her by persuading her away from loving them. It seems like the relationship might be a bit more struggling than the current situation the song presents, through "you talk me out of everything." All the same, she loves this person, would do anything for this person, even if it means falling out of (or at least, pretending to) love with them. And at the end, she thinks it might be okay. Love sacrificed for love.
