Got twenty-five in the bank, and three on me, you know.
Five cigarettes gonna have to last the night, you know.
‘Cause the money that I had’s been spent too much, you try to make it last, but it never does,
And I’ve been smoking just way too much, I’m sure you know.

Burn away, burn away,
It’s burning a black hole right through me.
Burn away, burn away,
It’s burning a black hole.

Getting real sick of getting used to this, you know.
Can’t remember it any different, I’m sure you know.
‘Cause I spent a lot of days and nights and those moments that I had with Lo Zee Rose,
Looking for a place that I should know by now, you know.

Burn away, burn away,
It’s burning a black hole right through me.
Burn away, burn away,
It’s burning a black hole right through me.
Burn away, burn away,
It’s burning a black hole right through me.
Burn away, burn away,
It’s burning a black hole.

Got twenty-five in the bag, three on me, you know.
Five cigarettes gonna have to last the night, you know.

Burn away, burn away,
It’s burning a black hole right through me.
Burn away, burn away,
It’s burning a black hole right through me.
Burn away, burn away,
It’s burning a black hole right through me.
Burn away, burn away,
It’s burning a black hole.

General CommentSick song, saw them live at Alley Katz in Asbury NJ this past December, got to see the band up front in a pretty small venue. This was the first time I had a chance to check out The Draft since HWM split up but I they sound fucking great especially Wollard, he fucking belts out those songs night in and night out no matter what the circumstances. Back to the song, just reminds me of nights out having a good time trying to make the best of it with whatever you got, its a struggle and Wollard relates it through his songwritting. Songs like this and New Eyes Open, Out Of Tune, and Bordering are just all around great rock songs period.

General CommentThe first paragraph reminds me of the week between my last paycheck and the paycheck that's coming next week. Ahh to be broke as fuck.

General CommentLo Zee Rose is slang that Jazz musicians used to use for Marijuana.

    just to clear that up.

General CommentAlways wondered what Lo Zee Rose stood for. Now that I know I wish people would use it, it has to be my favourite slang for Marijuana yet.

I love this song. No mater how many times I listen to their cd Lo Zee Rose is the song that always gets stuck in my head.

General CommentI was at a Draft show, and two guys started fighting while this song was playing. Wollard, encouraging them to stop, stated that they should fight since this song was, in fact, about weed.
