"Believer" as written by Warryn Campbell, Erica Monique Atkins-campbell and Trecina Atkins-campbell....
I used to think that I could not go on
And life was nothing but an awful song
But now I know the meaning of true love
I'm leaning on the everlasting arms

If I can see it, then I can do it
If I just believe it, there's nothing to it

I believe I can fly
I believe I can touch the sky
I think about it every night and day
Spread my wings and fly away
I believe I can soar
I see me running through that open door
I believe I can fly
I believe I can fly
I believe I can fly

See I was on the verge of breaking down
Sometimes silence can seem so loud
There are miracles in life I must achieve
But first I know it starts inside of me, oh

If I can see it, then I can be it
If I just believe it, there's nothing to it

I believe I can fly
I believe I can touch the sky
I think about it every night and day
Spread my wings and fly away
I believe I can soar
I see me running through that open door
I believe I can fly
I believe I can fly
I believe I can fly

Hey, cause I believe in me, oh

If I can see it, then I can do it (I can do it)
If I just believe it, there's nothing to it

I believe I can fly
I believe I can touch the sky
I think about it every night and day
Spread my wings and fly away
I believe I can soar
I see me running through that open door
I believe I can fly
I believe I can fly
I believe I can fly

Hey, if I just spread my wings
I can fly
I can fly
I can fly, hey
If I just spread my wings
I can fly
Hum, fly

My OpinionI think this song is very applicable to the last Skins episode, specifically to Naomi's character. Naomi does not believe in the love that she feels for Emily, but Emily does. Of course this all changes at the end of the episode :)

General CommentI don't think this song is literally about religion. I think it's about relationships, and commitment.

General CommentI think this song might be about girl who thinks about commiting suicide. I know it may sounds silly, but when you listen to it more it starts to have sense.

General CommentLogically, with the whole 'You are a believer, I am not' bit, this seems like its about a relationship which ends because one person is committed to a religion and the other isnt...
I got the the feeling it could have a less obvious meaning to it as well? No idea what that could be, mind.
