You're going to need permission
To have your own opinion
When the bosses frown
Time slows down for so long
I'm painting pictures with newspaper clippings
Contemplating conspiracy theories
All around
Listen well...

I've got some blackmail
I'll never tell
Hope that I don't get put away
No, it's not a slap in the face
It's just incase I can't escape
Or I can't run away now

Restricted information
Of a cataclysmic nature
Do not ask, do not tell
You will be hunted down
You can't run, there's no help

Just let me disappear
I've got your smoking gun
And no one knows it's here

General CommentKickass song! Hmm... I think it's about knowing a secret, something huge and potentially damaging "Restricted information / Of a cataclysmic nature", and having something you can use against them (whoever they are), just incase you "Can't escape" or "Run away". On anything specific, I have no idea... :S

General CommentIs it "Bosses frown" or "Boss is frail?"

General CommentNice song! I agree with L-kyne that it is about a massive secret that is very damaging but he won't reveal it unless he needs to "escape". It then goes on to say that he will not reveal the information if he is allowed to disappear.
It reminds me of a CIA spy movie or something, really cool.

General CommentI agree with surfnut and l-kyne. its kind of like what you see on tv when some one has a secret and they are held prisoner and they will only tell the secret so they don't get tortured and so he can escape. you see that stuff a lot on the show 24. haha

Then, i got to thinking, maybe its about how christians will keep god a secert. they're too afraid to say their opinion cuz they're afraid of what the world will say (You're going to need permission
To have your own opinion. When the bosses frown...)
i don't know i guess theres a lot more to it. i could be totally wrong.
