We call the heartland "not very smart land"
IQs are very low but threat levels are high
They got a mandate, they don't want man dates
They got so many hates and people to despise

In the dust bowl, cerebral black hole
The average weight is well over 200 pounds
I hate to generalize, but have you seen their thighs?
Most haven't seen their genitalia in a while

Maybe that's why they're so pissed at us
They're all jealous we're having better sex

Queers, transgens and lesbians
Vegan kids and vegetarians
All you brownish, red and yellow ones
Come and join us on the coast

No longer svelte
They gotta punch new holes in the bible belt
They've blown out the fire under the melting pot
The red blood of America's starting to clot

No compromise, no sight through others' eyes
They're just flies spreading pieces of shit
You've gotta immigrate, stop living in hate
What makes this country great is dwelling on either side

They don't want visitors in Jesusland
They want life bland and canned in the fatherland

We want people with college degrees
Drug use, experience and STDs
People with open-minded philosophies
Come hug California trees

Cultural revolution now
The old conservatives run out of town
We're gonna burn Orange County down
Then we're off to Riverside
Bakersfield and Fresno too
Then we're coming after you!

The fear-stricken born again Christian
They've got a vision of a homogenized state
Texas textbooks, Bibles and prayerbooks
They want 'em memorized but don't want you to think

They don't want visitors in Jesusland
They want life bland and canned in the fatherland

Punk rockers and emo kids
People doing things the church forbids
Buddhists, Agnostics and Atheists
We're moving out of Jesusland

Art students and thespians
Excluding country, all the musicians
We want all hookers and comedians
Nihilists are welcome too

No longer svelte
They gotta punch new holes in the bible belt

    General CommentWow Ollie.
What an astoundingly generalized and ignorant statement. I know some amazing christian people who respect my own beliefs and don't press it. I'm going to take a shot in the dark and say that they are not brainwashed either...

I'm not saying that there aren't some terrible things done in the name of religion, or that there aren't pushy people who seem to find joy in telling you you are going to hell (I had one of those friends once too)... I'm just saying that it's not so black and white. That was one huge assumption.

General CommentDude I don't know what you people are talking about! This song rocks! I'm not entirely anti-christian, but there are many redneck christians who don't like people of other religions. And I don't get how people can't see that, because my friends have been harrassed to no end by christans because of their religious expression, and I have lost many christian friends because of mine. And like I said on the Marilyn Manson page, if you're offended by this music, don't listen to it!

General CommentI think besides Christians, this song is also about Blue vs. Red states in the U.S. (Red being "Jesusland" - for the right-wing Christians). It's also funny how Fat Mike sings about taking out the Conservative stongholds in a largely blue California.

General Commentwell thats fat mikes way of writing lyrics, though he really is black and white thinking (like ther own song!) about things.
its a good song, the whole anti christian thing was funny at first (im an athiest) but its getting boring now, kinda like the bush thing, i already no how much of an idiot he is, but fat mike dusnt need to rite a whole album about him + other songs.
good songwriter stil tho, i have respect for fat mike.

red-necks of this county. I'd say he hit the nail right on the head.

General Commentollie 101, you're a fucking idiot and you're the one who's brainwashed. I know a lot of Christians who are extremely nice, intelligent, respectful people, and if anything, you're the asshole, and you should be banned.

As for the song, I think it's one of the most hypocritical songs I've ever heard. Here's NOFX preaching against closed mindedness, yet here they are being just as closed minded. I love NOFX, but Fat Mike has really been taking some stupid pills lately.

General CommentWell sure I have some nice Christian friends. I have Christian friends who skip school and smoke pot and listen to Marilyn Manson. I have Christian friends who think Black Magick is cool. I have Christian friends who don't judge me just because I sometimes abuse my powers.
See, there are still good Christians in the world.
