"Good Times Roll Pt.2" as written by Brian Albert Gordon Auger and Roger J. Sutton....
Ladies and gentlemen, you've heard the soul for sound [part one.]
Now, part two Are you ready? [yeaaaa {&} noooo] {both at the same time}
Do you wanna hear? [yeaaaa {&} noooo] {both at the same time}

part two Are you ready? [yeaaaa {&} noooo]
Do you wanna hear? [yeaaaa {&} noooo]

part two Are you ready? [yeaaaa {&} noooo]
Do you wanna hear? [yeaaaa {&} noooo]

part two Are you ready? [yeaaaa {&} noooo]
Do you wanna hear? [yeaaaa {&} noooo]

[noooo,noooo,noooo] {fade out}

Drifter went into my mama,
Before I was born.

"You got a poor child comin',
and the world's gonna know."

got my black cat (bone).
got my mojo too.

(tricked all he came in)
"I'm gonna mess with you."

Drifter went into my mama,
Before I was born.

"You got a poor child comin',
and the world's gonna know."

got my black cat (bone).
got my mojo too.

(tricked all he came in)
"I'm gonna mess with you."

part two Are you ready? [yeaaaa {&} noooo]
Do you wanna hear? [yeaaaa {&} noooo]

part two Are you ready? [yeaaaa {&} noooo]
Do you wanna hear? [yeaaaa {&} noooo]

part two Are you ready? [yeaaaa {&} noooo]
Do you wanna hear? [yeaaaa {&} noooo]

part two Are you ready? [yeaaaa {&} noooo]
Do you wanna hear? [yeaaaa {&} noooo]

[noooo,noooo,noooo] {fade out}

[i,i,i,i,i]
[wah!]

[yea, yea, yea] {random scratching}

Just won't work (no more). {x5}

    General CommentI'm pretty sure these lyrics are wrong. This song borrows lyrics from Muddy Waters's "(I'm Your) Hoochie Coochie Man," which goes: Gypsy woman told my mother/before I was born/"You got a boy child coming/And he's gonna be a son of a gun." RJD2's version did change it to "and the world's gonna know" but they definitely kept the gypsy woman part. Anyway, GREAT song, and the original is supposed to be about a guy who's got more mojo (and thus more lady friends) than he knows what to do with.
