"It's Up To You" as written by Jerry Dammers, John Edward Bradbury, Roderick James Byers, Terry Hall, Lynval Golding, Stephen Graham Panter and Neville Egunton Staples....
I see things happening, they fall before my eyes,
Pretend I'm blind like I could never see the heartache that's not mine,
Fills my head, can I just laugh away the sights that tear my soul
And make me sick, no, I could never be so cold to look away and maybe hide,
Is it so wrong you want to make a difference?
Why I'd like to think there's no excuse?
Is it a crime to want things better for yourself?
How you want to live is up to you, it's up to you

Wish I could be like you, indifferent to it all and life's a joke,
Sarcastic, cynical like everything's OK but it just won't work,
In life you have to choose to stay at home and hide or stand up and fight,
If caring's my offence I proudly stand accused so how 'bout you,
Is it so wrong you want to make a difference?
Why I'd like to think there's no excuse?

Is it a crime to want things better for yourself?
How you want to live is up to you, it's up to you

Is it so wrong you want to make a difference?
Why I'd like to think there's no excuse?

Is it a crime to want things better for yourself?
How you want to live is up to you, it's up to you

It's up to you,
It's up to you,
It's up to you,
It's up to you,
It's up to you,
It's up to you

General CommentIt's basically saying live how you want, don't follow the life style of your scene.

General CommentTrue, but since Land of the Free? has political undertones, it could be about the government preventing you from making a decent living and preventing you from true freedom

My InterpretationI disagree with @poolhaXjunkie and @epicmikenomore in the sense that I believe it is more about them not happy that people are apathetic in regards to social and world issues.

The band seems to be saying that it is up to you whether you care about the broader issues in life (or turn a blind eye), but in essence are really saying it is up you to actually care and not ignore important issues in society / the world.

The title has a double meaning to me ... one it is up to you to care, and two is a little "derogative" in that it is up to you if you chose to be ignorant / apathetic (two things that Pennywise are very much against).
