"Michael A Grammar" as written by and Patricia/cargill Keenan....
Michael Michael Michael
Wake up we're going back to chelmsley wood
Michael Michael Michael
My feet are dancing can you see them
Michael Michael Michael
I'll change my hair but inside I'll stay the same
Michael Michael Michael
I'll draw my lips around my lipstick

My feet are dancing so much and I hate that
My feet are dancing so much

Ah see if you're feeling like you're looking for a chance to let go
And if you're feeling like you're looking for that change then let go
Let go let go let go

Michael Michael Michael
Come on your father was a teddy boy
Michael Michael Michael
There's nothing written on your fingernails
Michael Michael Michael
You said remind me not to be myself
Michael Michael Michael
This is not your saw tooth wave

Ah see if you're feeling like you're looking for a chance to let go
And if you're feeling like you're looking for that change then let go
Let go let go let go

My feet are dancing so much and I hate that
My feet are dancing so much
My feet are dancing so much and I hate that
My feet are dancing so much

Ah see if you're feeling like you're looking for a chance to let go
And if you're feeling like you're looking for that change then let go
Let go let go let go

Michael Michael Michael
Today the old height rise is coming down
Michael Michael Michael
This is not your saw tooth wave

General CommentThis has to be my fav song by Broadcast. It speaks to the wallflower in me. When I feel like dancing and letting go but my innate shyness stops me. Then, I begin to dance and feel free and this feeling of shame for dancing starts. Even though, I'm always looking for that "chance to let go." For me, in this song, Trish seems to be talking to someone or even herself who is a wallflower but comes from a good neighborhood. They feel shame for dancing but Trish reminds this Michael that hey, your father was a teddy boy. You have it in you to be "hip" and dance. So....when you feel like letting go, just let go, forget yourself, and have a good time. (RIP: Trish- I wish u were still here on this earth making music)

General Comment"My feet are dancing so much
    And I hate that"
Refers to when someone is stressed, jittery and is moving his feet in franticness
