Words fall out of my mouth
And I can't seem to trace what I'm saying
Everybody wants your time
I'm just dreaming out loud,
I can't have you for mine and I know it
I just wanna watch you shine

Tripping up on my tongue,
It's all over my face and I'm racing
Gotta get away from you
Burning all the way home,
Try to put it to bed but it chases
Every little thing I do

When light falls on your face,
Don't let it change you
When the stars get in your eyes,
Don't let them blind you

You're beautiful
Just the way you are
And I love it all
Every line, and every scar
And I wish that I could make you see
This is where you ought to be,
Come down to me

Spell it out in a song,
Bet you never catch on to my weakness
I'm singing every word for you
Here I'm thinking I'm sly
Then you're catching my eye, and just maybe
You're thinking what I'm thinking too

When you see it on my face,
Don't let it shake you
I know better than to try and
Take you with me

    My Interpretation

ok so i'm new to this site but i have been looking for somewhere i can get my feelings out about songs and what they mean to me so here it goes.

this song makes me cry every time i hear it. there is this guy i love with all my heart. this song reminds me of the two of us together.

"Words fall out of my mouth And I can't seem to trace what I'm saying"

I find it really easy to talk to this guy. Some times i don't even know what i'm saying.

    "Everybody wants your time"

He is always distracted by other people that get him off track with his life.

"I'm just dreaming out loud, I can't have you for mine and I know it"

This what I'm doing here is me just dreaming out loud. He has struggled with being gay, and that is not a problem with me. that's how i know i can't have him for mine because i'm a girl.

"I just wanna watch you shine"

He is always dancing and singing. He wants to be an influence in someone's life.

"Tripping up on my tongue, It's all over my face and I'm racing Gotta get away from you Burning all the way home, Try to put it to bed but it chases Every little thing I do"

Sometimes i just have to run. This guy struggles with drugs and hating himself. I try to run away from the whole thing but the whole thing chases me where ever i go. he is the first thing i think of when i wake up and the last thing i think of when i go to bed. and he is everything i think about during the day.

"When light falls on your face, Don't let it change you When the stars get in your eyes, Don't let them blind you"

He gets scared sometimes. and i just want him to know that i will always be here for him.

"You're beautiful Just the way you are And I love it all Every line, and every scar And I wish that I could make you see This is where you ought to be, Come down to me"

Like i said he does drugs. He used to do a lot more in the past. He has tried to kill himself many times he has scars all up his arms from where he used to cut himself. now on his right inner wrist he has a tattoo that says the word "Peace"

"Spell it out in a song, Bet you never catch on to my weakness I'm singing every word for you Here I'm thinking I'm sly Then you're catching my eye, and just maybe You're thinking what I'm thinking too"

He writes music and songs all the time. and sometimes he looks at me and i feel that he may feel the same as i do.

"When you see it on my face, Don't let it shake you I know better than to try and Take you with me"

I don't want him to be scared when he realizes how much i really love him. I can't force him into anything. But he can follow if he wants.

This is something that is going on right now in my life and there has been some progress. he has told me that he is straight. When i asked him what he ment he just looked at me and smiled. and yesterday he told me he wanted help to stop the drugs. We cried together. And tonight I'm taking him to our church to talk to one of the youth mentors. I pray to God that all goes great.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Little Feat
Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."
