"Virtue To Vice" as written by Emil Nodtveidt, Andreas Bergh, Skinny Kangur and Ole Ohman....
These secrets I'll bring to you
Are of thorns and ice

Hushâ?¦.
Don't tell them nothing, not a word
Hushâ?¦
Don't tell them nothing, not a single thing that I've said to you

Hear all my secrets
Tell all the lies
Hear all my secrets
Tell all the fucking lies!

Can you hear it scream?
Deep deep inside

Hushâ?¦
Now listen carefully, here it comes
Hushâ?¦
It's what I keep inside, this is the crime that I've tried to hide

Hear all my secrets
Tell all the lies
Hear all my secrets
Tell all the fucking lies!

Can you hear it scream?
Deep deep inside

Envy...Sloth...Gluttony...Wrath...Pride...Lust...Greed

These secrets I'll bring to you
Are of thorns and ice
These secrets I'll give to you
Will turn virtue to vice

These secrets I'll bring to you
(These secrets I'll bring to you)
Are of thorns and ice
(Are of thorns and ice)
These secrets I'll give to you
(These secrets I'll give to you)
Will turn virtue to vice
(Will turn virtue to vice!)

Can you hear it scream?
Deep deep inside

I'll tell you only onceâ?¦

General CommentI think that the terrible thing is what man is capable of ("it's what I keep inside, this is the crime that I've tried to hide").

We humans are able to corrupt anything, to "turn virtue to vice", through our deceitful nature. We lie and manipulate for personal gain. (Hear all my secrets, tell all the lies).

So the great secret would then be that religion is just our way to justify actions, while in truth it is we who are wholly responsible for committing sins etc.

General CommentI think this song is about..well..when you look into yourself - deep inside, you can only see your sins, nothing positive - and in the end it will turn virtue to vice.

General CommentI think this is quite hard to understand. It's about someone who knows a terrible secret and that things are not the least what they appear to be. But we're not told what it is.
Maybe that's it: There are many things in the world that we have no clue of, that they exist and some of these are horrible things.

    General CommentI agree with you,
    to a certain extent.
I think its "tell all the fucking lies"
    anyway,minor mistake.
    Its something that maybe...
You tell someone, and someone hears it,and doesn't believe it all.
A high level of shock until,possibly,he/she changes completely?

Or of course, some secrets of this world are horrible, but we've yet to know about them.
It would question our deepest beliefs.
    Well,yeah.

General CommentIt sounds like Whip has a secret he desperately wants to share but he cant because it will just screw up everything or turn people against him.
