"Play God" as written by Emil Nodtveidt, Andreas Bergh, Skinny Kangur and Ole Ohman....
Dead starlight bleeds down on the Devil's nitrate
All the nerves of the patients bathe in shock and shame
Cause I'm the trigger that'll start this game

And the strike of the night will trash the skyline
And darken the marks I've put in your skin

'Cause I want to play God
With you
I want to rule it all
Rule you

The human cattle lick on the ethical nightsticks
All the tears of the victims run on cold cheeks' meat
Cause here's a future that'll feed on sheep

Let's play a game of two
I'll play God and you'll play you
Let's play a game tonight
I'll play Dark and you'll play Light

General Comment"Playing god" is a term to discribe to experiment with things that are thought to be nothing anyone should ever mess with and that could change the world dramaticaly, especially genetic manipulation of plants, animals and even humans.
Ones again, like Blitzkrieg und Cyanide, this is a song of humanities search for power which most seem to try to find through harming and destroying others.

General CommentYou guys all have good points about what you think it means, and anyone of you could be right.

My opinion, it's a protest video as funny as that sounds.
"The human cattle lick on the ethical nightsticks
All the tears of the victims run on cold cheeks' meat
    Cause here's a future that'll feed on sheep "

The video itself if you watch, has an "army" as well as jets flying around. There's quite a bit of symbolism that I can see.

    I like Moo's answer tho - sex game :P

General CommentOkay umm, first reply to neithan, It could be right, although, then it should not be compared to blitzkrieg, because blitzkrieg is actually just a pure sexual based song, so...
And to kylia, I thought this was about the songs, not about how amazing Canada is(I have nothing against Canada, or America, jsut against holland, because that's where I live and it's dead boring soXD)

    Okay meaning:
It's definitely about a game, not yet a sex game, Just one sadistic dark torture game I guess, and that it's okay, because he plays God and all god does is justice. So it's also a bit about the ignorance of humanity, maybe especially christianity, since if someone dies they're more like, it was his time to go to God, and not like, Oh damn, we'll never see him again in this life. So it's a little game about pain, done by god, and we still follow him as sheep, well, not everyone, There are people who don't believe in god so... But thta's what i think

General Comment'scuse me, an anti-american government protest song. they are swedish and actually live in a "real" democratic country, unlike the soon to be / already mostly there fascist nation of america.

like my country, canada, we get all the news in the world and have less propaganda within our information sources (media - news).

within america, if you watch some of the news programs then go watch news on the net from other countries other then, say, the UK (another fascist nation), you will see how incredibly scary the truth is....
