"Thinking Underage" as written by Christopher E. Rojas, Teddy Geiger and Billy Mann....
So soon to say it's over
Lets see what happens later on
I'm 16 the world just opened wide
I've got a pocket full of change
I'm tired of thinking underage
Just cut this string and let me fly
Say goodbye, say goodbye

Forgive me mom and dad
If the music makes you sad
Nothing can prepare us for the day
That little boys grow old
And don't do as they're told
But I will find my way
I'm just tired of thinking underage,
Tired of thinking underage,
I'm not thinking underage anymore

I'm first in line at the DMV
I'll sweet talk you, just give me the keys
I don't have a curfew in my mind
Little Katie and me like the Rolling Stones
She keeps me still by letting go
It's not like were running out of time
Cause you will find, yeah you will find

Just like gravity, the ups and downs
Will always be OK with me
I am over all that underage can be so

(Forgive me mom and dad)
I'm not thinking underage anymore [Repeat: x2]
(If the music makes you sad)
I'm not on that page anymore, no
I'm not thinking underage anymore [Repeat: x2]

General CommentI think that this song is about growing up and having more adult thoughts and opinions (like world news and politics). He's apologizing to his parents that may be sad by seeing their boy growing up, and sometimes rebel, by not doing what they're told, but he wants to be an adult, and everybody has to grow up. That's what I think

General CommentLaVitaBella, if I remember correctly, Katie is the name of his former girlfriend. I read it in a news article. They've since broken up. But don't take me at my word, because I don't know for sure.

General CommentThanks! Yeah, I looked at the acknowledgements on the album, and it says, "Katie, you inspired so much of this album, thanks for always being so understanding and being there for me." So that's what I thought, too. Just wondering.

General Commentfirst off, teddy is incredible. and not to mention extremely hot. but anyways. this is one of my favorite songs on his album. hes at the age that he wish his parents would trust him. they have done all they could for him and now they have to "cut the string" and see what happens. he thinks hes ready. hes "overall that underage can be" hes no longer underage and he belives he learened everything there is possibly to learn. although hes wrong, at least in my opioion. my favorite line is "just like gravity the ups and downs will always be okay with me" theres gonna be bad times and good times in your life, but life still goes on. just like gravity- it never ends. and no matter how bad things get, you'll get through it. pretty much teddy is ready to be a man, and hes telling his parents to trust him because 'he will find his way'.

General Commentthis is a great song and my favorite, and i definatly can relate. hes saying he just wants his parents to realize hes getting older. and its time for them to let him get older, adn not treat him like a kid anymore. hes changing and they need to realize that. hes tired of being treated like a kid. and hes also noticing that hes getting older and more mature.
great song, great lyrics hes amazing.
