Look
We gotta talk
Dang, I know, I know
But it's, it's just some things I gotta get off chest, aight?

Yeah, whoa, whoa-whoa
Listen

Baby, come here and sit down, let's talk
I got a lot to say so I guess I'll start by
Sayin' that I love you
But you know this thing ain't been no walk in the park for us
I swear it'll only take a minute
You'll understand when I finish, yeah
And I don't wanna see you cry
But I don't wanna be the one to tell you a lie so

How do you let it go when you
You just don't know what's on
The other side of the door
When you're walking out? Talk about it
And everything I tried to remember to say just went out my head
So I'ma do the best I can to get you to understand 'cause I know

There's never a right time to say goodbye (yeah)
But I gotta make the first move
'Cause if I don't you're gonna start hating me
'Cause I really don't feel the way I once felt about you
Girl, it's not you, it's me, I
Kinda gotta figure out what I need, oh
There's never a right time to say goodbye
But we know that we gotta go our separate ways
And I know it's hard but I gotta do it and it's killing me
'Cause there's never a right time, right time to say goodbye

Girl, I know your heart is breaking
And a thousand times I found myself asking, "Why? Why?"
Why am I taking so long to say this?
But trust me, girl, I never
Meant to crush your world and I never
Thought I would see the day we'd grow apart
And I wanna know

How do you let it go when you
You just don't know what's on
The other side of the door
When you're walking out? Talk about it
Girl, I hope you understand what I'm tryna say
We just can't go on
Pretending that we get along
Girl, how you not gon' see it? (Oh, oh, yeah)

There's never a right time to say goodbye
But I gotta make the first move
'Cause if I don't you're gonna start hating me
'Cause I really don't feel the way I once felt about you
Girl, it's not you, it's me, I
Kinda gotta figure out what I need, oh
There's never a right time to say goodbye
But we know that we gotta go our separate ways
And I know it's hard but I gotta do it and it's killing me
'Cause there's never a right time, right time to say goodbye

Listen to your heart, girl, you know
We should be apart, baby, I
I just can't do it
I, I just can't do it
Listen to your heart, girl, you know
We should be apart, baby, I
I just can't do it
And sometimes it makes me wanna cry
Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh
Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh
Do you hear me crying?
Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh (oh, oh)
Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh
There's never a right time

There's never a right time to say goodbye (oh yeah)
But I gotta make the first move
'Cause if I don't you're gonna start hating me (you're gonna start hating me, baby)
'Cause I really don't feel the way I once felt about you (no more)
Girl, it's not you, it's me, I (it's me, yeah)
Kinda gotta figure out what I need, oh (about you and me)
There's never a right time to say goodbye (oh, no it ain't)
But we know that we gotta go our separate ways (go, yeah, yeah)
And I know it's hard but I gotta do it and it's killing me
'Cause there's never a right time, right time to say goodbye

There's never a right time to say goodbye
But I gotta make the first move
'Cause if I don't you're gonna start hating me
'Cause I really don't feel the way I once felt about you
Girl, it's not you, it's me, I
Kinda gotta figure out what I need, oh
There's never a right time to say goodbye
But we know that we gotta go our separate ways
And I know it's hard but I gotta do it and it's killing me
'Cause there's never a right time, right time to say

It talks about how he doesn't want to lead her on and he needs to break up with her because he doesn't feel the same way towards her anymore and he needs to tell her before he hurts her too bad. I mean he's gonna hurt her anyways by breaking up with her but this way it won't be like he led her on or anything. This is a great song. I think anyone who's deciding to break up with someone should listen to this song because it'll teach them a lot.

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."
