Abundant or broke
The elect and the mute
All will slip away, the billions…
Like thieves through windows
It leaves their branches white
all breathe, be breathless
To quit this mortal frame, We’re not safe.
Even lovers are asleep
Both deceived and deceiver are His.
This is victory, from all these years
bowing in front of queens.
Have gun, will travel
Safe.

General CommentGot these lyrics from their myspace page.
Cannot begin to say how unbelievable this song and this band are. But you already knew that! Not sure what the meaning is although I read that they wrote it in remembrance of a friend of theirs who died recently. The guy's name was Shaun Luu, of course. Beyond that, I can't get most of it. Maybe what they are saying is that we are all going to die eventually, during the apocolypse. I think "lovers are asleep" might refer to lovers of Christ who still are mostly blind walking through life. Just my ramblings...

General CommentIt seems like they are talking about the end times. The end times is when Christ will triumph and proclaim victorous to satan. Notice how the "H" in His is captialize. Both the decieved and deceiver (sinners) belong to Him who created all things, Christ.

General Commentwow....the guitar riffs in this song are incredible...looks like the NJ did their boy Shaun Luu a favor and made this their best song. i think what this song is trying to say on some levels is that while we are on earth, sometimes we are not safe because we aren't following GOD, but once in Heaven we are safe because now we are in GOD'S house. not sure if that what it means, but i love this song and i love Norma Jean

General CommentFirst off this song was not written about shaunn luu, but it is dedicated to him.

to break this down as simply as possible, its a positive outlook on death.

The first couple of lines (especailly including the 3rd one) are saying everyones gonna die.

then it goes on to say even though this is a fact of life, it still is horrifing (ex- It leaves their branches white. all breathe, be breathless)

the lines, to quit this mortal frame, is simply saying to die. i dont kno what hes tryin to say with "were not safe".

then the last part of the song is just saying how when we die were all gonna be with God and all the others that have died in the past and will die in the future.

im really tierd right now, so i think im a bit off, but i felt like sharing none the less.

General Commenti think this song is about how EVERYONE is gonna die no matter what and by "Like thieves through windows It leaves their branches white" they mean that during the apocolypse their gonna come quietly without anyone knowing and just sweep us all away, so basically either way Religious or no were still gonna die eventually which reminds me the other day some ladies came to my house askin me if i would like to live FOREVER and i just stayed like hell no cus thats just stupid ill die eventually!!

General Commentthis song was named after norma jean's friend shaun luu, who died from cancer.
these lyrics arn't about him, the song is just dedicated to him.
the masters of horror asked norma jean to make a song for them in one of there movies ..
    this is what they did.
