I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.
And you, and you came to me like my alarm
I carved your first and last name in my arm
Now I only wear black so maybe then you will see
I'm just a shadow of what I'm not supposed to be
You fuel my fire with your laughs and with your frowns
You call me a freak and join the circus you clown
I heard a man say that I do it for attention
I never thought of that but now that you mention...
No I never drank blood before but I look like I might
with my face painted white
For just this once I wish you'd all just hear what I have to say
For just this once I wish you'd all just turn and fade away
For just this once I wish you'd all just hear what I have to say
For just this once I wish you'd all just turn and fade away
(But! But! But!) But now-a-day's are different from way back when
so hard to be yourself when your 4+10
For the very first time I feel kind of special
My mom says be normal yet she just got a facial
If my parents go away on their trip to Club Med
Then I'll join your tour and be a real dead head
I heard a girl say that I do it for attention
I never thought of that but now that you mention...
I spent my last ten bucks today on black hair dye
You know dye rhymes with die
For just this once I wish you'd all just turn and fade away
For just this once I wish you'd all just hear what I have to say
For just this once I wish you'd all just turn and fade away
For just this once I wish you'd all just hear what I have
Just hear what I have to say
oooooooooh ooooooooh ooooooooh
A psycho killer
Well qu'est-ce c'est
It doesn't matter any way
It matters anyway
I carved your first and last name in my arm
Now I only wear black so maybe then you will see
I'm just a shadow of what I'm not supposed to be
You fuel my fire with your laughs and with your frowns

I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example:
"'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/
